Mobile Healthcare Solutions
Connecting Providers and Patients
With doctors, nurses, administrators and patients who are constantly on the move, healthcare providers are increasing the use of healthcare applications on mobile devices to provide information at the point-of-care, thereby enhancing the patient care experience.
Napier Healthcare works with mobile and telecommunication industry leaders to create cutting-edge mobile health (mHealth) solutions on a variety of mobile platforms including smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices. Napier’s mobile applications are designed to naturally extend the entire Napier suite of hospital management and clinical solutions, and are based on open healthcare industry standards, and support major operating platforms including iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
Napier Healthcare’s mobile solutions provide enhanced access to patients’ medical records, prescriptions and education materials anytime, anywhere.
Two major features of the mobile healthcare solutions family below.
Electronic Mobile Medication Administration Record (eMAR)
As part of our EHR (electronic health record) solution, eMAR is designed to give nurses the mobile option of administering medications via the scanning of a barcode on a patient’s wristband. This helps ensure the 5 Rs (right patient, right medication, right time, right dose and right route) are followed closely. The mobile application provides access to medication knowledge bases and drug interaction information. It also provides the ability to view alerts and allergies, record vitals, laboratory results and medication related incidents.
Electronic Mobile Care System (eMCS)
Enables healthcare providers to efficiently manage patient care while on the move anytime, anywhere with real-time access to patient clinical case notes, patient diagnosis including vital symptoms, medical history and allergies, laboratory results and prescription, appointment scheduling and cancellation and other notes and observations. Napier eMCS, while adding a new dimension to home care, also caters to emergency needs by facilitating telephonic encounter when physical interaction with the care recipient is not possible.
